Curriculum Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Curriculum Developer to remotely design and develop educational curriculum spanning various courses and grade levels. This position requires a blend of deep subject knowledge and instructional design expertise to create practical teaching materials that effectively facilitate student learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive course outlines, scope and sequence documents, and detailed unit plans.
• Create engaging lesson plans, activities, assessments, and additional instructional resources.
• Ensure curriculum alignment with relevant educational standards and learning frameworks such as Common Core, NGSS, IB, and AP.
• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and educators to refine and improve curricular content.
• Conduct pilot testing of curriculum resources and modify them based on feedback collected from classroom environments.
• Oversee version control and manage curriculum content systematically.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of three years' experience in curriculum design or teaching roles involving responsibility for content creation.
• In-depth expertise in the assigned subject area.
• Familiarity with educational standards and frameworks including Common Core, NGSS, IB, and AP.
• Exceptional skills in writing and editing educational content.
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction methods and designing various assessment types.
• A Master's degree in education or a relevant subject area is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging approximately from $65,000 to $105,000 USD equivalent, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
