About the Role
Elite Escapes invites enthusiastic individuals to join as Remote Cruise Planners, turning clients' cruise aspirations into booked voyages they eagerly anticipate. This role combines deep knowledge of travel destinations with exceptional service and consultative sales expertise to tailor the perfect cruise experience—be it a romantic getaway, a multigenerational family trip, special celebrations at sea, group excursions, or a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to discern their preferred destinations, travel preferences, budgets, schedules, group size, and essential cruise features.
- Advise on selecting appropriate cruise lines, ships, itineraries, staterooms, dining arrangements, shore excursions, and additional options tailored to each traveler.
- Convert inquiries into confirmed cruise bookings using email, chat, and phone communication, maintaining enthusiasm, precision, and client-first dedication.
- Clearly communicate cruise details including cabin classifications, deposits, payment plans, travel protection options, onboard packages, and port regulations.
- Manage booking specifics, special client requests, amendments, payments, upgrades, and pre-cruise inquiries with professionalism and thoroughness.
- Address and resolve client concerns efficiently and confidently, providing support from initial quotation through voyage embarkation and return.
- Share expert insights on optimal sailings for different traveler types, unique ports, seasonal offers, and exclusive promotions.
- Foster ongoing client relationships post-booking, encouraging repeat bookings, referrals, review contributions, and lasting loyalty.
Preferred Qualifications
- A genuine interest in cruises, including ocean, river, expedition voyages, or a passion for sea travel.
- Previous experience in travel, sales, hospitality, customer service, or booking is advantageous but not mandatory; beginners are welcome.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to confidently guide clients through decision-making.
- Effective organizational skills for managing multiple quotes, reservations, follow-ups, and detailed client information.
- Comfortable using technology, various online booking platforms, customer relationship management systems, and artificial intelligence tools—with comprehensive training provided.
- A sincere enthusiasm for travel, creating memorable experiences, and assisting clients in finding cruises tailored to their desires.
