Role Overview
As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing daily credit control operations, ensuring timely payment collections, and maintaining accurate customer account records. This function is key to sustaining smooth financial management and supporting the accounting team within a reputable Technology sector company known for quality service, innovation, and employee growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage customer accounts to guarantee punctual payments.
- Proactively follow up on overdue invoices through telephone, email, and formal letters.
- Allocate received payments and perform precise account reconciliations.
- Investigate payment inconsistencies and address customer inquiries.
- Prepare and dispatch routine financial statements and payment reminders to clients.
- Work closely with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Keep comprehensive records of all credit control transactions and activities.
- Create reports on outstanding debts and communicate updates to management.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in credit control or accounting-related roles is essential.
- Strong numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills are required.
- Competent in utilizing accounting software and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Self-motivated with organized time and task management capabilities.
Employment Details
- Salary range from £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience level.
