About the Role
As a Credit Control Analyst, you will oversee credit risk management, collections, and resolving payment queries for a vital customer portfolio, aimed at enhancing working capital efficiency. You will champion improvements in processes, promote automation, and ensure precise reporting to help the team consistently meet monthly collection goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage dispute resolution processes collaboratively with Sales and Customer Service teams, adhere to strict service level agreements to prevent dispute escalation, and reduce aged unallocated cash.
- Assess credit holds and independently make order release decisions within predefined authority limits, balancing commercial needs against credit exposure risks.
- Perform financial risk assessments and review credit limits for both new and existing customers periodically, using third-party risk information and financial statements to prepare approval recommendations.
- Supervise account balances to ensure adherence to credit limits and payment terms through strategic engagement with stakeholders.
- Promptly address and rectify unallocated cash and unapplied receipts to maintain accurate customer sub-ledger records reflecting real-time credit exposure.
Qualifications and Skills Needed
- At least one year’s experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control functions.
- Certification or diploma education minimum.
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with advanced expertise in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs) and/or Microsoft Excel.
- Practical experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, Fusion, or Microsoft Dynamics, along with knowledge in credit risk evaluation.
