Overview

The Citigold Private Client (CPC) Client Advisor plays a pivotal role as a strategic confidant for high-net-worth individuals, delivering tailored wealth management advice and customized financial solutions. This position requires anticipating client needs in advance and constructing personalized strategies that cover sophisticated investment management, complex financial planning, and comprehensive navigation of intricate financial environments. The advisor focuses on empowering clients to meet their financial goals while enhancing Citi's Wealth franchise.

Acting as the main contact, the advisor establishes enduring, meaningful client relationships, collaborating closely with in-house experts to ensure a seamless, integrated client experience. Key focus areas include wealth preservation, capitalization, and intergenerational asset transfer, tailored especially to the distinctive needs of global changemakers. An entrepreneurial outlook and a commitment to continually improving client engagement are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute customized financial plans encompassing investment oversight, retirement and estate planning, tax strategies, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage and deepen relationships with affluent clients, serving as their primary liaison, performing regular portfolio assessments, sharing market updates, and proactively addressing inquiries.
  • Drive business growth by discovering and pursuing new opportunities within the affluent segment, utilizing existing networks and referrals.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists such as investment counselors, wealth planners, and currency experts to deliver all-encompassing financial services.
  • Keep current with market trends and economic shifts to offer clients timely insights and recommendations.
  • Plan and conduct client-focused events to strengthen connections and provide valuable market knowledge.
  • Ensure strict adherence to compliance standards including KYC and AML, assessing risks prudently with focus on the firm’s reputation, protecting assets, and managing control issues transparently and ethically.

Qualifications

  • Over 10 years’ experience in wealth management or similar sectors, specifically servicing high-net-worth clients.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working with North Asian markets, including China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, with strong networks conducive to client acquisition and growth.
  • Deep understanding of cultural practices relevant to North Asia.
  • Proven success in business development and client relationship building.
  • Comprehensive grasp of financial markets, investment techniques, and wealth preparation methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and interpersonal capabilities.
  • Capable of performing autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
  • Required to hold certifications necessary for financial advisory and product sales.
  • Educational background including a Bachelor's degree (mandatory), with Master's degree preferred.
