Role Overview
The Service Associate is an entry-level position focused on delivering day-to-day customer service responsibilities in alignment with Citi’s policies and standards, working collaboratively with the Customer Service team. The role involves resolving client inquiries and providing continuous customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing compliance procedures and control systems within the business review department by monitoring, researching, and responding to compliance inquiries across all products.
- Ensure precise compliance advice and research for the sales team.
- Contribute to refining reports and procedural adjustments.
- Help prepare verbal and written management reports detailing compliance status, trends, and challenges.
- Support sales and management teams by executing recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
- Leverage understanding of team interactions to achieve customer service objectives.
- Consistently meet client needs while delivering excellent customer experiences, measured by specific performance indicators.
- Evaluate risks diligently when making business decisions to protect Citigroup's reputation, clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and ethical standards; promptly escalate and report control issues transparently.
Candidate Qualifications
- Prior relevant work experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective influencing abilities and relationship management.
- Demonstrated creativity in problem-solving.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
