About the Role
The Purbeck School seeks a dependable and well-organized Cover Supervisor to oversee classroom activities when the subject teacher is absent. This position requires the ability to manage student conduct and ensure their ongoing academic progress throughout the supervision period.
Work Details and Compensation
- Term-time only employment, including one inset day annually.
- Permanent role starting October 2026.
- Working hours options: 2 days per week (12 hours) or 5 days per week (30 hours).
- Salary: 7,101 pro-rated annually for 12 hours per week, or 17,754 pro-rated annually for 30 hours per week (Grade 6).
- Pay award is pending.
Candidate Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or equivalent, including English and Maths, is required.
- Recent successful experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar educational support role is desirable.
