Job description
Job Summary
We are looking for a Costing Engineer to join our team in Chennai, Perungudi. The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical Engineering and experience in engineering environments, focusing on cost estimation and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost structures accurately.
- Interpret and detail engineering drawings effectively for cost evaluation.
- Apply sound knowledge of cost control and value engineering techniques.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (B.E. Mech / DME).
- 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in an engineering company, preferably with a focus on costing.
- Strong capabilities in BOM creation, cost structure understanding, and drawing interpretation.
Salary & Benefits
Offered salary range is between INR 360,000 to 480,000 annually (approximately INR 30,000 to 40,000 per month).
