Cost Estimator (m/f/d) for Civil and Structural Engineering

About the Role

HOCHTIEF Infrastructure GmbH is seeking a dedicated Cost Estimator specializing in civil and structural engineering to join their Frankfurt team. This position involves the precise cost calculation of tenders for transportation infrastructure projects, thorough examination and evaluation of tender documents, and the development of effective bidding strategies. Additionally, the role requires advancing calculation methods and tools and performing cost evaluations for contract amendments during project execution phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate offers and bids for transportation infrastructure projects.
• Review and assess tender documents critically.
• Develop strategies to improve bidding success.
• Enhance and refine calculation methodologies and tools.
• Determine and calculate additional costs (variations) during the construction phase.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in cost estimation for civil and structural engineering projects.
• Strong background in the construction industry.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within teams.
• Self-driven, responsible, and well-organized approach to work.
• Familiarity with calculation software ITwo and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience in transportation infrastructure projects, including railway, tunnel, and structural engineering, is advantageous.
