Position Overview

Join Walmart Canada as a Cosmetics Associate and develop your skills within a fast-moving retail environment. Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, assist with product choices, promote relevant items and services, help locate merchandise, support buying decisions, and address concerns or escalate them to management when necessary.
• Keep sales floor standards high by restocking, rotating inventory, removing damaged or expired goods, arranging displays, and verifying pricing and signage accuracy.
• Receive shipments and stock merchandise; conduct product picks and downstocking; apply protective measures on products as needed; set up modular displays, including flex modulars and new shelving caps.
• Manage claims and returns properly, secure merchandise, identify items prone to loss, and uphold loss prevention measures according to company policies.
• Refer service and transaction inquiries to the Customer Service Manager where applicable, and support other store operations like Front End assistance as required.
• Offer cosmetics expertise and customer guidance by informing shoppers of dedicated departmental support and sharing product knowledge.
• Maintain flexible availability, including shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays, to help ensure consistent store operation and customer service quality.

Challenges of the Role

• Effectively manage high task volumes in a rapid-paced environment, especially overnight shifts, by maintaining energy and focus throughout your work hours.
• Handle physically demanding tasks such as prolonged standing, frequent bending, lifting items generally up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, as well as performing repetitive stocking and zoning duties with diligence.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $17.75 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
