Cortex Reconciliation Specialist

About the Role

The role involves managing and supporting the Cortex Reconciliation system, focusing on the daily operations, system enhancements, and liaising with vendors. The specialist will oversee reconciliation and settlement activities relevant to Cards, ATM, POS, and E-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and provide support for the Cortex Reconciliation system, including routine work and system improvements.
• Supervise reconciliation and settlement processes across card transactions, ATM, POS, and e-commerce channels.
• Address chargebacks, transaction disputes, and discrepancies effectively.
• Work closely with both business and IT teams to gather requirements, conduct user acceptance and system integration testing, and support implementations.
• Ensure strict adherence to Visa, MasterCard, and MADA regulatory frameworks.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle activities, change management protocols, and system upgrade processes.
• Offer production support within a high-volume transaction environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in banking technology or electronic payments is essential.
• Strong practical expertise with Cortex Reconciliation system is mandatory.
• Deep understanding of Cards, ATM, POS, Clearing, and Settlement processes.
• Familiarity with payment standards such as ISO8583 and PCI compliance requirements.
• Knowledge or experience working in Oracle and Unix operating environments is preferred.
• Previous experience within Saudi or Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) banking sector is highly advantageous.
