Job Overview
Join TC Group, one of the UK’s fastest expanding top 20 accountancy firms, as a Corporate Tax Advisor based in our Lewes office. This full-time role offers a competitive salary based on experience, with hours Monday to Friday totaling 36.25 per week. Flexible and hybrid working options are available following successful probation. Enjoy 25 days of annual leave excluding bank holidays.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage tax compliance for diverse clients, from small enterprises to corporate groups.
- Prepare and review corporation tax computations and tax return submissions.
- Handle tax provisions including deferred tax calculations, tax proofs, and prepare tax accounts for audit processes.
- Collaborate with the corporate finance team to provide expert tax advice.
- Guide and mentor trainees and placement students within the tax team.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a practice environment.
- ACA or CTA qualification, or actively working towards one.
- Strong foundational knowledge in corporate tax matters.
- Proficiency with accountancy platforms including CCH, Xero, and Sage.
- Competent skills in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
- Effective and personable communication capabilities.
- Highly motivated, ambitious, and driven to excel.
- Excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
