About the Role
Aken Tech Solutions seeks a Core PHP Developer to join our team working on an NGO management software platform. The ideal candidate will have the ability to comprehend client needs and translate those into effective technical implementations, handling projects from conception through live deployment and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret client and project requirements to develop technical solutions.
- Design and develop new features and modules using Core PHP.
- Manage full project lifecycle including planning, development, deployment, and ongoing support on live servers.
- Create and optimize MySQL database schemas and queries.
- Integrate front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Identify, debug, and resolve issues in existing code as well as enhance the application.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- At least 1 year of practical experience working with Core PHP.
- Strong proficiency in MySQL, specifically database design and query optimization.
- Competence in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Experience in requirement gathering and implementing those requirements in live projects.
- Practical knowledge of deploying projects to live servers and managing hosting environments.
- Familiarity with MVC architectural patterns and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Prior experience with Git or other version control systems is advantageous.
