Godown Incharge

Overview

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Godown Incharge to efficiently handle the day-to-day operations of our tiles storage facility. The role demands meticulous supervision of inventory, labor, and dispatch to maintain product quality and operational accuracy.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage the unloading process of tile shipments from trucks, ensuring staff adhere to proper handling methods and vertical stacking to minimize damage such as chipping or breakage.
• Ensure strict segregation and verification of stock based on design, finish, size, and batch/shade numbers, preventing any mixing of different production batches during storage or delivery.
• Verify outgoing shipments by cross-referencing with delivery challans, checking box quantity, dimensions, shade, and designs before loading onto customer vehicles.
• Handle customer returns by inspecting returned boxes for quality compliance and promptly restocking accepted items into their respective racks, avoiding temporary placement in transit zones.
• Maintain accurate records of daily stock entries and exits, conduct physical stock audits regularly to detect discrepancies or product damage.
• Oversee godown loaders and helpers by assigning daily duties, monitoring attendance, and ensuring cleanliness of aisles and workspaces, including the removal of broken tiles.

Salary and Location

The position offers a monthly remuneration between 20000 and 35000 INR and is based onsite in Patna, Bihar, India.
