Cook - Hostel

Position Overview

Seeking a skilled and dependable Cook to manage meal preparation for a hostel. The role involves making breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily for hostel residents with proficiency in Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine.

Key Duties

• Prepare Indian dishes including roti/paratha, dal, sabzi, and rice in large quantities.
• Ensure consistent food quality and adhere to hygiene standards.
• Keep the kitchen environment clean and organized.
• Independently handle routine kitchen responsibilities.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous cooking experience, especially in hostels or mess environments preferred.
• Ability to prepare bulk meals efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygienic food preparation practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible in work approach.
• Physically fit, disciplined with ability to manage kitchen independently.

Additional Information

• Preference given to candidates experienced in hostel/mess cooking with bulk meal preparation skills.
