Overview
Exemplar Health Care is seeking a dedicated Cook to join their team at Primrose Place care home located at Ashby Road, Coalville, LE67 3LB. This is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week on a contract basis with a pay rate of up to 3.27 per hour.

Primrose Place is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built care home designed to support adults with acquired brain injuries, complex mental health conditions, dementia, and physical disabilities. It is part of Exemplar Health Care, a renowned nursing care provider in the UK. This role provides an exciting opportunity to influence the culture of a new team within a modern facility.
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals suited to various dietary needs.
- Develop and adapt menus based on individual preferences and requirements.
- Engage with residents to gather feedback on meals and improve dining experiences.
- Adhere strictly to food hygiene and safety standards, completing relevant checks and documentation.
- Collaborate as part of the wider Catering Team to maintain high standards and teamwork.
Candidate Profile
- Passionate about creating delicious, healthy meals for diverse dietary needs.
- Innovative and creative in menu planning and food preparation.
- Excellent team player with strong verbal and written communication abilities.

A food hygiene certificate and catering qualification are advantageous but not mandatory. Training, induction, and support will be provided to those new to the care sector to ensure a smooth integration.
