Position Overview

Millennium Services Group Limited, a leading provider of integrated property services in Australia and New Zealand, is seeking a dedicated Control Room Operator to join their team in Miranda, NSW. With over two decades of experience, the company focuses on safety-first principles and superior service delivery in retail and shopping centre environments.

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee CCTV monitoring and watch site activities to uphold safety and compliance standards.
• Manage coordination of cleaning and security teams operating at various locations.
• React promptly to alarms, incidents, and service calls.
• Keep detailed, precise logs and produce comprehensive incident reports.
• Facilitate clear communication with site supervisors, clients, and emergency responders as necessary.
• Ensure strict adherence to operational guidelines and safety practices.
• Assist with scheduling, shift supervision, and workforce management.

Candidate Qualifications

• Valid Security Licence is mandatory.
• Current certifications in First Aid and CPR are required.
• Previous experience in security, with retail background considered advantageous.
• Experience in control room operations or managing coordination roles is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication abilities and capability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency with CCTV systems, radio communication, and dispatch technologies.
• Capability to maintain composure and act swiftly under pressure.
• Basic computer skills and competence in report writing.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Depending on specific sites, holding a security license or relevant certifications may be necessary.
• Applicants must hold full legal working rights in Australia.

Employment Details

• Position Type: Full-time, day shift.
• Shift Timings: Between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM; days and weekends as scheduled.
• Award Level: Level 5.
• Roster details will be confirmed during onboarding.
