The Opportunity

We are seeking dependable and motivated Cleaners to join our team servicing retail sites in Brisbane. If you have pride in your work, a keen eye for detail, and enjoy maintaining clean, safe, and inviting spaces, we encourage you to apply.

Full-time roles are available with shifts scheduled across weekdays and weekends.

Compensation is aligned with the applicable cleaning award rates.

Key Duties

• Perform comprehensive commercial cleaning duties to maintain high standards.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum various flooring surfaces.
• Clean sanitary facilities and toilets thoroughly.
• Collect and properly dispose of rubbish and waste.
• Spot clean furniture and fixtures as needed.
• Clean internal and external glass surfaces when required.
• Dust and sanitize all applicable surfaces.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety protocols at all times.
• Learn and operate machinery for emergency cleaning situations as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• Possess a positive mindset along with strong dedication and work ethic.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high cleaning standards.
• Effective communication skills and ability to use two-way radios confidently.
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
• Availability to work on weekends, public holidays, and shift variations when necessary.
• Current Australian driver's license is preferred; willingness to handle floor cleaning machinery for urgent clean-ups.
• Experience with equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, and sweepers is highly valued.
• First Aid and CPR certification is advantageous or willingness to undergo training provided by Millennium Services Group.
