Job description
Overview
The Contracts Specialist will deliver contractual and commercial support across the lifecycle of ADNOC Upstream Onshore projects, focusing on contract administration, managing commercial risks, tender assistance, change management, and claims evaluation. They will ensure full compliance with ADNOC's contracting policies.
Key Responsibilities
Support contract activities from pre-award through post-award including tendering, bid assessment, contract administration, claims and variations management, handling contractual correspondence, and leading commercial negotiations to safeguard project interests.
Experience and Expertise Required
Demonstrate a solid background in contract administration and commercial management within the Oil & Gas sector, ideally having experience with major Petroleum projects valued over USD 500 million and with familiarity of ADNOC contracting and procurement standards.
Desired Project Exposure
Extensive work on Upstream Oil & Gas developments including Early Production Facilities, Well Pads, Gathering Systems, Central Processing Facilities, and related brownfield projects. Experience in managing high-value EPC, EPCM, and DBO contracts and operating within ongoing live facilities is highly favorable.
Technical and Professional Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory; a Master's degree is an advantage. Professional registrations such as Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) are preferred. Proficiency with SAP MM software and contract risk management practices is essential.
