Job description
Job Overview
The role focuses on providing comprehensive post-award contract support and analysis for the Onshore & Operations Support Group in full compliance with QatarEnergy LNG's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to effective management of Onshore & Operations Support contracts post-award, ensuring adherence to QatarEnergy LNG's systems, procedures, and ethical guidelines.
- Keep an updated ledger of contracts, continuously tracking contract validity and utilization of cap values.
- Assist with periodic Contractor Performance Evaluations as mandated.
- Facilitate ongoing contractor development efforts emphasizing local content, ensuring evaluation and monitoring.
- Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to confirm compliance with contracted rates prior to issuance to contractors and generate purchase orders in SAP based on approved ITPs.
- Manage the development and execution of Contract Work Orders (CWOs), overseeing final payments and closeout processes.
- Support formulation and finalization of the annual Contracts Demand Plan.
- Provide accurate and timely month-end and year-end accrual numbers.
- Ensure prompt clearance of all invoices in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration.
Experience and Expertise
- At least six years of experience in cost and contract management within the oil and gas sector.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SAP or comparable enterprise resource planning software.
- Sound knowledge of contract law and industry-standard practices.
- Advanced skills in Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
