Position Overview

This hybrid role is based at the Territory Headquarters in Blackburn, Victoria, requiring two days per week onsite presence. The Contract Support Analyst will leverage employment services expertise to assist frontline teams nationally by offering expert advice on contracts, compliance, and departmental systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver internal customer service by advising staff, including managers and employment consultants, on departmental guidelines and system processes.
• Manage contractual relationships with relevant government account and contract management representatives.
• Support program assurance and audit reviews to ensure compliance and minimize financial recoveries.
• Provide accurate, timely advice regarding contractual, policy, and system inquiries to optimize service delivery and revenue.
• Resolve complex contractual issues escalated beyond operational managers and team leaders.
• Maintain and disseminate a knowledge base to ensure contractual compliance throughout the organization.
• Interpret contractual deeds and guidelines, and communicate precise information across all staff levels.
• Handle override requests to facilitate outcome achievement.
• Coordinate and administer Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and agreement signings.

Candidate Profile

• Essential experience in Employment Services.
• Preferred but not required: experience in contract management or compliance within highly regulated environments.
• Strong planning, prioritization, and decision-making capabilities.
• Creative problem-solving within rigorous compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to work on projects under strict deadlines.
• Methodical and analytical research and investigative skills.
• Strategic thinking with demonstrated implementation skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook applications.
• Must successfully complete a National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check.
