Job Overview
The Contract Management Specialist plays a critical role in overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, tracking compliance, managing renewals, and maintaining accurate contract documentation. The position aims to ensure adherence to contractual obligations, minimize risks, and guarantee compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Main Duties
- Create, review, and process contracts, amendments, and associated legal documents.
- Facilitate the approval and signing phases of contracts in collaboration with internal departments.
- Maintain an organized, centralized contract management system with up-to-date records.
- Monitor contract obligations, deliverables, milestones, and compliance with stipulated terms.
- Keep track of contract expiry, renewal opportunities, extensions, and terminations.
- Identify and report contractual risks to management as necessary.
- Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and project teams to address contract-related issues.
- Assist in negotiations by preparing documentation and evaluating contract clauses.
- Ensure all contracts conform with internal policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Generate contract status reports, key performance indicators, and management dashboards.
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external sources concerning contract terms and documentation.
- Provide essential documents during audits.
- Advocate for enhancements to contract management procedures and document standards.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Law, or related discipline.
- Possesses at least three years of experience in contract administration, procurement, supply chain, legal support, or purchasing operations.
- Demonstrates understanding of contract lifecycle management principles.
