About the Role
Join the Incentive Policy team where you will be pivotal in supporting various operational and policy-related functions encompassing fund management, reporting, and administrative processing. Your responsibility will include managing and ensuring the accuracy of grants databases by issuing reference numbers and updating records promptly across all grants. This covers monitoring project milestones such as approvals and disbursements while maintaining data integrity.
You will also be charged with preparing cashflow drawdown projection reports and overseeing comprehensive processing of tax incentives documentation. Additionally, you will perform compliance audits on sanctioned and disbursed grants to verify policy conformity, synthesizing findings into detailed reports for team review.
Another aspect of your role involves coordinating user acceptance testing for grants systems and verifying the correctness of migrated data to guarantee system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and uphold grants databases ensuring all information is current, accurate, and complete, with timely issuance of reference numbers.
- Lead the generation of reports, cashflow projections, and other communications, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Conduct thorough compliance assessments on various grants to ascertain adherence to policies.
- Coordinate system testing procedures and validation of data migrated to new platforms.
- Support additional ad-hoc tasks and projects as delegated, consistent with the role's level of seniority.
Candidate Profile
- Experience of 3 to 5 years in fields such as grants management, fund administration, financial operations, or related disciplines; prior public sector or government experience is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills capable of accurate review of financial information, cashflow forecasts, and compliance results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing professional correspondence and comprehensive reports.
- Highly organised with attention to detail, able to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
- Demonstrated business acumen, analytical reasoning, and sound judgment skills.
- Ability to collaborate within the organization (STB) and effectively engage external stakeholders.
- A commitment to working with dedication and purpose, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Good grasp of regulatory, policy compliance, and internal control frameworks related to grants or fund management.
- Proven capacity to work independently and as part of a team, handling complex or ambiguous situations judiciously.
