About the Role
Join Parsons Corporation as a Contract Administrator based in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. This position is essential to managing all aspects of contract administration on assigned projects, ensuring legal and contractual compliance, safeguarding company and client interests, and supporting project teams with expert guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and project needs.
- Prepare contractual correspondence with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Organize and lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders to address disputes and contractual matters.
- Plan and oversee contract-related activities, including post-award scheduling and evaluations.
- Maintain comprehensive records of contractual documents such as amendments and change orders.
- Monitor adherence to contract terms, including timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide strategic advice on contract modifications, negotiation processes, claims avoidance, and conflict resolution to project managers.
- Coordinate processing and review of change requests and act as liaison among contractors, clients, and other parties to resolve disputes.
- Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Track project budgets and expenditures to ensure compliance with contract conditions.
- Prepare regular reports detailing contract status and progress for presentation to senior management.
- Review and validate vendor invoices and maintain oversight of contract administration staff where applicable.
- Evaluate work of consultants and contractors for compliance with policies and legal standards.
- Recommend and help implement updated policies and procedures; assist in personnel selection, training, and evaluation as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in contract administration or management within the construction sector.
- Familiarity with standard contract forms, particularly FIDIC.
- Proficient with computer tools including word processors, spreadsheets, and analytical software.
