Overview
The Content Manager role offers an engaging opportunity for individuals passionate about medical science and meticulous content verification. This position focuses on ensuring the precision, clarity, and regulatory compliance of medical documents, impacting the quality of scientific communication.
Note: The organization operates on a remote-first policy with a flexible "accelerate from anywhere" culture. Occasional travel to the Mumbai office may be required based on business needs or for team events.
Responsibilities
- Assess manuscripts, posters, slide presentations, educational materials, and medical literature submitted by clients for data verification.
- Review documents produced by medical writers for scientific inaccuracies by cross-referencing against annotated sources, Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), and other relevant data.
- Identify inconsistencies within texts, figures, tables, and between texts and supplementary materials while recommending improvements.
- Detect absent references and logical gaps in scientific arguments.
- Verify adherence to grammar, syntax, style guides, regulatory standards, and publishing requirements.
- Maintain responsibility for the quality and accuracy of fact-checked and quality-controlled documents and projects.
- Communicate findings from quality control and fact-checking promptly and effectively with clients and medical writers.
- Provide quality control reports to stakeholders and monitor quality trends.
- Ensure documents are delivered on schedule.
- Engage in proactive communication with team members, authors, clients, and vendors.
- Participate in workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance skills and support organizational goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least two years of experience in the medical writing field; candidates with strong knowledge of publication frameworks or clinical research but less experience are also considered.
- Master’s degree in Research or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Adaptability to dynamic project priorities and assignments.
