Container Unloader - Greater Toronto Area

About the Role

No previous experience with container unloading or warehouse operations is needed, as you will receive comprehensive training from your very first day. Training covers paperwork, forklift operation, and usage of our internal container data capture system. What we value most are a strong work ethic and a positive outlook.

Daily Responsibilities

• Unload and load shipping containers until the day's tasks are completed, typically requiring 8 to 10 hours depending on workload.
• Manually unload freight from containers, palletize the stock, wrap pallets securely, and stage them for put-away by drivers.
• Engage in repetitive and physically demanding tasks, including team lifts of weights up to 75 pounds.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, supported by job rotation schedules implemented across all Young Guns sites.
• Possession of a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) license is advantageous but not mandatory.
