Role Overview

The Consumables Associate operates collaboratively within a team to stock goods, process inventory, and provide customers with exceptional service while maintaining a safe and orderly environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and courteously.
• Support customers by promoting products and services, helping locate items, and assisting in making purchase decisions.
• Address customer concerns effectively and escalate unresolved issues appropriately to management.
• Maintain the sales floor's appearance by stocking, rotating products, discarding expired or damaged items, setting up displays, and labeling merchandise accurately.
• Handle claims and product returns properly, safeguard merchandise, monitor shrinkage-prone products, and ensure workplace safety in accordance with company policies.
• Receive and shelve shipments using suitable equipment; complete required paperwork and logs for inventory management.
• Refer customers to the Customer Service Manager for specialized services or transactions when necessary.
• Carry out stock picking and downstocking tasks, apply product protection measures, and arrange modular shelving units, including flexible displays and updating shelf capacities.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.10.

Minimum Qualification

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
