Consumables Associate

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and assist them throughout their shopping experience by promoting products, guiding merchandise location, and helping with purchase decisions.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve their concerns or escalate them to management when necessary.
• Maintain an attractive sales floor by stocking shelves, rotating stock, removing expired or damaged goods, arranging visual displays, and ensuring pricing accuracy.
• Handle claims and returns correctly, secure inventory, identify high theft-risk items, and uphold company safety protocols.
• Receive shipments, stock merchandise using appropriate equipment, complete all necessary documentation including logs and paperwork.
• Refer service or transaction matters to the Customer Service Manager as needed.
• Perform stock picking, downstocking when needed, apply product protection, and complete setups for modular shelving including flexible modular units and shelf cap installations.

Compensation

The starting minimum wage for this position is $18.40 per hour.

Minimum Qualification

Applicants must be at least 16 years old to be eligible for this role.
