Consultant Oculoplastic Surgeon

Position Overview

We are looking for a Consultant Oculoplastic Surgeon to join a prominent private/semi-government hospital in Doha, Qatar, known for its advanced surgical technology and adherence to international clinical standards.

Key Requirements

• Applicants must already reside in Doha or be prepared to relocate immediately.
• Holding a valid Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) License issued by the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) Qatar is mandatory.
• Candidates should possess a consultant-level certification such as FRCOphth, American Board, or an equivalent top-tier qualification.
• Specialist fellowship or subspecialty training in Oculoplastics, Orbital, or Lacrimal surgery is required.
• At least five years of professional experience following specialist qualification is essential.
• Preference will be given to Western-trained ophthalmologists.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage complex cases involving oculoplastic, orbital, and lacrimal disorders.
• Perform advanced surgical procedures encompassing both functional and cosmetic aspects.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary ophthalmology team.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar's Ministry of Public Health standards and undergo routine professional revalidation.
