Lead Veterinary Surgeon

Overview

We are inviting applications for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon position at a well-established small animal clinic located in Coolock, North Dublin. This role offers a competitive annual salary package ranging from 65,000 to 75,000, dependent on experience, plus potential bonuses and additional benefits including sign-on incentives and accommodation options.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the clinical team while actively participating in clinical duties involving a diverse range of small animals.
• Ensure the maintenance and advancement of high clinical standards throughout the practice.
• Foster a positive, cooperative team environment and collaborate closely with the Regional Director and clinical networks.
• Contribute to operational and financial performance improvements and practice growth initiatives.
• Identify and implement enhancements in patient care and client service experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of an MVB, DVM, or an equivalent veterinary degree.
• Minimum of three years of professional veterinary experience, particularly with small animal cases.
• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Willingness and enthusiasm to mentor colleagues and support team development.
• Proactive and collaborative work approach.
• Previous leadership or business experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
