Role Overview
As a Consultant specializing in Global Mobility within Tax – Global Employer Services, you will advise international clients on all matters related to employee assignments abroad. Our team assists globally active companies to ensure their worldwide success. Join us to make a difference and contribute to this shared success.
Locations include Düsseldorf, Berlin, Frankfurt (Main), Hamburg, Munich, Nuremberg, and Stuttgart.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for client HR departments and expatriate employees regarding international assignment inquiries.
- Coordinate assignment processes by managing both internal and external stakeholders through activities including cost estimations and enforcing assignment policies.
- Organize relevant services ranging from tax advice and immigration to language courses and intercultural training.
- Collaborate closely with Deloitte’s international offices and third-party service providers to integrate global services.
- Contribute valuable insights on strategies, processes, and service delivery models related to international employee assignments.
- Leverage modern AI tools to support daily tasks, identify new AI applications, and enhance existing workflows.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completed degree in economics, law, or comparable education.
- Preferably some practical experience or knowledge in individual taxation, social security law, labor and residency law, including EU notification duties.
- Strong customer orientation, enjoying systematic work in a dynamic international environment, coupled with creativity and technology literacy.
- Fluency in German and English, written and spoken, and proficiency in MS Office tools.
