Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of critical derivatives matters from both client and investment manager viewpoints as well as internal operational perspectives.
• Provide leadership and direction to teams servicing derivative clients, ensuring effective collaboration with clients, investment managers, and prospects.
• Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers and internal departments for optimal client servicing.
• Address and resolve complex client escalations related to derivatives procedures and strategic client service planning.
• Perform advanced tasks that have significant financial, client, or internal business impact.
• Engage directly with committees and senior management as required.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for junior employees in derivatives specialization.
• Possess strong technical expertise within the field and a broad understanding of adjacent areas.
• Produce high-quality work that minimizes need for revisions.
• Lead team organization by assigning tasks, setting priorities, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely, accurate completion of objectives.
• Handle performance reviews, career development, staffing decisions, and disciplinary measures when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of derivatives products and industry practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies.
• Proficient negotiation, leadership, accountability, and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities to prioritize workload and provide constructive feedback.
• Requirement: College or University degree and/or relevant professional experience.
