Position Overview

This role involves delivering patient-centered, evidence-based specialist care in breast radiology while adhering to ethical and professional standards outlined by the organization and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive, professional, and ethically sound clinical services efficiently to patients.
  • Identify and manage clinical risks related to direct patient management.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical governance and quality assurance protocols.
  • Keep precise and complete medical records.
  • Commit to continuous professional development for self and colleagues to uphold high standards of medical practice.
  • Uphold integrity and ethics in delivering clinical services.

Educational and Certification Requirements

  • Possession of a basic medical degree.
  • Completed higher education such as fellowship or diploma recognized by UAE healthcare authorities.
  • Certification and registration in a specialty acknowledged by the relevant UAE regulatory body.
  • Current valid life support certifications (examples include BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, or NRP).

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience at consultant level, regardless of country.
  • Preferable at least 1 year consultant-level experience from a Tier 1 country recognized by UAE healthcare regulator.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Capability to support and facilitate clinical clerkship training for medical students and junior staff.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, primarily in English; Arabic is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with clinical audit procedures and standards.
