Job description
Position Overview
This role involves delivering patient-centered, evidence-based specialist care in breast radiology while adhering to ethical and professional standards outlined by the organization and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, professional, and ethically sound clinical services efficiently to patients.
- Identify and manage clinical risks related to direct patient management.
- Ensure adherence to clinical governance and quality assurance protocols.
- Keep precise and complete medical records.
- Commit to continuous professional development for self and colleagues to uphold high standards of medical practice.
- Uphold integrity and ethics in delivering clinical services.
Educational and Certification Requirements
- Possession of a basic medical degree.
- Completed higher education such as fellowship or diploma recognized by UAE healthcare authorities.
- Certification and registration in a specialty acknowledged by the relevant UAE regulatory body.
- Current valid life support certifications (examples include BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, or NRP).
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience at consultant level, regardless of country.
- Preferable at least 1 year consultant-level experience from a Tier 1 country recognized by UAE healthcare regulator.
Skills and Knowledge
- Capability to support and facilitate clinical clerkship training for medical students and junior staff.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, primarily in English; Arabic is advantageous.
- Familiarity with clinical audit procedures and standards.
