Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a capable and experienced Civil Supervisor or Foreman to autonomously oversee and manage the civil construction operations on-site daily. The role includes ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of construction tasks while adhering to project standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day civil construction work aligned with drawings and instructions.
- Efficiently allocate and supervise labor teams based on daily requirements.
- Liaise and coordinate with Site Engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Supervise various civil works including PCC, RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, and flooring.
- Verify line, level, alignment, dimensions, and workmanship during project execution.
- Ensure correct usage of materials, tools, and manpower at the construction site.
- Track and report daily progress to the Site Engineer or Management team.
- Maintain discipline on-site and enforce safe working practices.
- Identify issues at the site and work with engineers to find timely solutions.
- Reduce material wastage and enhance labor productivity.
- Ensure work completion meets quality standards and project timelines.
Compensation
The monthly remuneration for this position ranges from 15,000 to 25,000 INR.
