Job Role
We seek a senior Construction Lawyer to collaborate with a diverse client base across Australia, delivering expert legal counsel on construction and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on construction and infrastructure matters, including drafting and negotiating a wide array of commercial contracts.
- Assist in-house legal teams with agreements related to development and acquisition for large, multi-regional property developers.
- Advise clients on capital projects, covering procurement and tender processes, risk assessment, and liability management.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum five years post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably within the construction and infrastructure sectors in an in-house capacity.
- Strong expertise in construction and/or infrastructure projects with proven experience advising across the entire project lifecycle—from procurement and design & construct (D&C) to operations of major building or infrastructure initiatives.
- Commitment to outstanding client service and ability to forge robust stakeholder relationships.
- Full legal working rights and eligibility to practice law in Australia.
