About the Role
All Around, Inc., headquartered in Nashville with a satellite office in downtown Opelika, Alabama, is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. This position involves translating complex drawings and specifications into precise budgets, competitive proposals, and clear instructions for field teams. Our projects primarily include exterior building systems for multifamily, residential, and commercial properties, focusing on fiber cement siding, roofing, insulation, and furring.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform meticulous takeoffs and cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and supervision.
- Manage vendor pricing, clarify scopes of work, and engage in value engineering processes.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive proposals and ensure smooth handoffs to project teams.
- Coordinate materials, price change orders, and incorporate feedback from actual project expenditures.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in construction estimating, excellent ability to interpret drawings, strong judgement, and effective communication skills. Background in estimating software and familiarity with exterior building envelope systems are especially advantageous.
Additional Information
- Work Location: This role requires onsite presence at our downtown Opelika satellite office. Preference is given to candidates residing within the Auburn–Opelika area.
- Compensation: Starting salary range is $75,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
