Role Overview

The Configuration Officer for the Halcon program is tasked with executing configuration management activities across one or more programs to ensure all configuration items' integrity, traceability, and control throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, establish, and sustain Configuration Management (CM) plans for various projects.
• Oversee control of configuration baselines related to systems, hardware, software, and technical documents.
• Ensure strict adherence to CM processes, procedures, and ANSI/EIA-649 standards.
• Conduct audits, maintain status accounting, generate reports, and manage change controls to uphold product traceability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 7 years of practical experience in Configuration Management or Document Control within system engineering or technology-focused sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of ANSI/EIA-649 CM principles and Systems Engineering methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering, or equivalent; experience in Aerospace or Defense industries is highly valued.
• Experience in defense programs and regulated engineering settings is advantageous.
• Knowledge of configuration audits and quality management is a plus.
