About the Role
Boral is looking for a dynamic and proactive individual with a positive mindset to join our Contact Centre team in Perth Airport as a Concrete Allocator. This demanding position involves coordinating the dispatch, utilization, and timely delivery of concrete trucks, requiring effective planning of driver schedules aligned with customer orders.
Working Hours
Availability is required during operating hours from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday, and on a rotating basis on Saturdays from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee incoming orders and ensure their prompt delivery.
- Collaborate closely with team members and Production to optimize service delivery.
- Keep drivers informed about job details and daily assignments.
- Communicate any scheduling issues or potential delivery delays to relevant stakeholders.
- Adhere strictly to driver fatigue management policies, legal requirements, and company health and safety standards.
Candidate Profile
- Previous real-time scheduling or dispatch experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation with a solution-focused approach.
- Competency in managing multiple systems efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and effective prioritization skills.
- Adaptability to changing scenarios and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
