Position Overview
At Marriott International, the Concierge Team Leader role goes beyond simple guest check-in and check-out processes. The position emphasizes delivering a memorable and distinctive guest experience by efficiently managing and responding to guest needs and special requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle guest requests for special arrangements such as transportation, reservations, or dry cleaning by organizing these services or liaising with the appropriate providers.
- Address unique guest needs with careful follow-up to guarantee satisfaction.
- Provide guests with detailed information about property amenities, services, operation hours, and recommendations for local attractions and activities.
- Serve as a communication link to relevant teams like bellpersons or housekeeping to resolve guest inquiries or issues.
- Review daily shift logs and memos to update records and ensure unresolved requests from previous days are prioritized and fulfilled.
- Oversee the club lounge environment, monitoring seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and overall wellbeing.
- Comply with company policies including maintaining a safe work environment, preserving confidentiality, and safeguarding company assets.
- Maintain professional appearance and communication standards consistent with Marriott's quality guidelines.
- Perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 10 pounds as needed to meet job demands.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
- Previous experience as a Concierge is preferred.
- No supervisory experience necessary.
- Possession of a valid full driver's license is mandatory.
