Role Overview
The Computer Specialist position is a full-time hybrid role located in Tirur, Kerala, allowing some remote work flexibility. This role involves the configuration, upkeep, and troubleshooting of computer systems, development boards, and lab hardware essential to the organization's training programs. The specialist supports instructors during boot camps, ensures the readiness of systems and software, and guarantees smooth operation of hardware design tools and environments.
Additional duties include assisting with basic programming, managing equipment inventories, and offering technical guidance to learners regarding safe and effective use of lab resources. Collaboration with trainers and management to enhance the technical infrastructure and overall learning environment is integral to daily responsibilities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools relevant to hardware design environments.
- Practical hardware skills, including machining and hands-on handling of components and development boards.
- Experience or aptitude in teaching or training to clearly explain technical concepts and support instructors.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities across software, hardware, and network domains.
- Capability to work independently and efficiently in a hybrid setting, coordinating with both on-site and remote teams.
- Excellent communication skills, emphasizing clarity, inclusivity, and professionalism.
- Prior experience in hardware design labs, technical training, or IT support is advantageous.
- A relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Hardware Engineering, or related areas is preferred.
