Computer Science, AI & Robotics Teacher

About the Role

Sardonyx School is looking for a passionate and committed Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Robotics teacher to join their CBSE-affiliated institution. The successful candidate will have a solid background in teaching Mathematics and computer-related subjects across various student levels, aligned with the CBSE curriculum.

Primary Duties

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans based on the CBSE syllabus, fostering a positive and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
• Employ innovative educational strategies including Flipped Classroom, Experiential Learning, Active Learning, and Student-Centred Learning techniques.
• Conduct classroom management and encourage a supportive environment for students to clarify doubts.
• Maintain records such as notebooks, assignments, periodic testing, and internal assessments in accordance with the academic calendar.
• Carry out invigilation duties, evaluate student performance, and manage mark sheets.
• Serve as a class teacher or mentor, overseeing homeroom periods, maintaining discipline, and engaging with parents during PTMs.
• Provide coverage for absent teachers during free periods and perform additional assignments as requested by the school.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE school.
• Age between 25 and 40 years.
• Educational qualifications include a graduate degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Application, or Artificial Intelligence along with a B.Ed degree.
• Proficiency in Python programming and strong knowledge of AI and Robotics concepts.
• Skill in lesson planning and curriculum design.
• Excellent classroom management capabilities and student engagement skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Additional Information

• Salary is approximately INR 3,00,000 per annum or higher, based on candidate profile.
• Notice period required is typically 15 days or immediate availability is preferred.
