Role Overview

The role of the Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer involves creating and refining CNC programs to manufacture air conditioning parts with exact specifications. This position is full-time and remote, requiring analysis of technical blueprints, development of tooling paths, selection of suitable tools, and machining strategies for milling and similar operations. Responsibilities also include modifying existing programs, diagnosing machining problems, and cooperating with engineering, production, and quality teams to guarantee precise and efficient production. The programmer will maintain documentation, organize program archives, and contribute to continuous improvements focused on productivity, quality, and safety. Effective communication through digital platforms and compliance with remote work protocols are critical.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong skills in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to understand engineering requirements and tolerances.
• Proficiency in CNC programming and experience in developing, adjusting, and optimizing CNC programs.
• Hands-on experience with machining and milling, comprehending cutting conditions, tool selection, and production techniques.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities within industrial or manufacturing contexts.
• Familiarity with CNC programming software and CAD/CAM tools, alongside general computer literacy.
• High attention to detail, organizational aptitude, and ability to manage work independently in a remote setting.
• Good communication skills for collaboration with engineers, production staff, and quality assurance personnel.
• Relevant educational background such as a technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related disciplines. Prior experience in HVAC or air conditioning component manufacturing is advantageous.
