Computer and Virtualization Engineer (Immediate Joiner)

Overview

We are looking to recruit a proficient Computer and Virtualization Engineer to oversee, manage, and enhance enterprise virtualization environments, Windows Server infrastructure, and endpoint administration. This hands-on role demands expertise in VMware technologies, Microsoft SCCM, Windows Server platforms, along with capabilities in monitoring, patching, and system performance optimization.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, administer, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter server environments.
• Use VMware vRealize Suite (vROps) for continuous monitoring and performance tuning of virtualization infrastructure.
• Conduct capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and implement improvements ensuring optimal operational reliability.
• Maintain high availability, security, and performance standards across virtual and physical infrastructure.
• Administer Windows Server 2016 and newer versions, handling upgrades, migrations, patching cycles, and incident resolution.
• Implement system hardening, security updates, and ongoing enhancements in Windows Server environments.
• Design, create, and deploy software, applications, and task sequences via Microsoft SCCM / Configuration Manager.
• Manage endpoint security including patching, software deployment, and compliance enforcement.
• Leverage monitoring tools, logs, reports, and dashboards to identify system issues and optimize infrastructure health.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation about VMware, SCCM, and Windows systems.
• Participate in audit preparation, compliance assessments, asset lifecycle management, and system decommissioning processes.
• Adhere strictly to ITIL frameworks, change management policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Engage with VMware and Microsoft support vendors for issue escalation, case management, and timely resolution of production challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Practical experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vRealize Operations.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SCCM / Configuration Manager for endpoint management.
• Competence in administering Windows Server 2016 and later versions.
• Strong grasp of virtualization technologies, infrastructure monitoring, patch management, and performance troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting, automation concepts, and ITIL methodologies is a plus.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, technical documentation proficiency, and effective communication abilities.
