Role Overview
As a Compositor based full-time on-site at the Greater Vijayawada District, you will be responsible for seamlessly integrating live-action footage with computer-generated elements, matte paintings, and visual effects into complete final shots. Daily responsibilities include managing layers and render passes, adjusting lighting and color, enhancing visual effects, and ensuring smooth integration between CG and live-action components. Collaboration with VFX, animation, and editorial teams is critical to interpreting creative briefs, maintaining visual coherence, and adhering to production timelines. Following studio pipelines, managing shot versions, and proactively troubleshooting artistic and technical issues are essential to delivering final production-quality frames.
Qualifications
- Advanced compositing expertise combining live action, CG, and animation components into final visuals.
- Proficient understanding of lighting principles applied to CG and compositing for matching and enhancing on-camera lighting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CG workflows and tools within VFX and post-production pipelines.
- Experience handling live-action footage, including green screen processing, plate cleanup, and set extensions.
- Awareness of animation principles and the interaction between animated and live-action/CG elements.
- Practical experience with leading compositing applications such as Nuke, After Effects, Fusion, and related VFX software.
- Strong eye for color grading, composition, and visual storytelling with rigorous attention to detail and shot consistency.
- Excellent teamwork, effective time management, and ability to thrive in a dynamic on-site production environment.
- Relevant academic background in Visual Effects, Animation, Film, Computer Graphics, or equivalent professional experience.
