Composite Production Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Composite Production Technician to become a valued member of our expanding manufacturing team dedicated to producing sophisticated composite components for unmanned aerial vehicles and aerospace applications.

Key Duties

• Fabricate composite parts adhering strictly to technical specifications.
• Set up molds and prepare composite materials in readiness for production.
• Execute material cutting, layered assembly, and vacuum bagging processes.
• Operate curing equipment such as ovens and autoclaves effectively.
• Extract completed composite parts from molds with care.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper order of tools, workspace, and machinery within the workshop.
• Record working hours in relation to specific work orders and assist in daily production documentation.
• Comply with directives issued by supervisors and team leaders.
• Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards to ensure workplace safety.

Qualifications and Experience

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Between one and three years of practical experience in composite preparation or related manufacturing fields.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical or craft-based tasks such as car foiling, tailoring, mold fabrication, or mechanical assembly.
• Excellent manual dexterity and meticulous attention to detail.

Technical Proficiencies

• Proficient in material cutting and layup processes.
• Skilled in vacuum bagging and preparation techniques for curing composites.
• Experienced in demolding composite components.
• Familiar with tools including rollers, scissors, and cutters.
