Job Overview
The Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the company's compliance program by auditing existing policies and practices, identifying associated risks and vulnerabilities, and ensuring all departments remain aligned with compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the deployment of the compliance program and help establish necessary internal controls.
- Promote compliance awareness through ongoing communication and organize training sessions as required.
- Contribute to improving aspects of the compliance program, including adherence to export control regulations, employee conduct codes, and anti-corruption policies.
- Assist in designing, auditing, and reporting on company policies and procedures to reveal potential risks or gaps.
- Conduct vendor audits and other audits as assigned to ensure compliance adherence.
- Monitor and support the rollout of new procedures, such as onboarding processes for third parties and partners.
- Handle inquiries from affiliated companies and screen customers using third-party compliance tools.
- Support investigations into compliance violations and help develop corrective action plans promptly.
- Maintain frequent coordination with various departments to address any compliance-related matters effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Audit, Law, or a comparable discipline.
- Brings a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in compliance or related fields.
