Role Overview
The Compliance Manager will lead the development, oversight, and continuous management of compliance programs across Scry AI’s operations. This role ensures that all activities strictly match legal regulations, internal policies, contracts, and industry standards. The position demands close cooperation with teams from legal, finance, security, HR, and business units to uphold robust compliance and governance practices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive compliance frameworks, policies, controls, and monitoring methods.
- Perform scheduled compliance audits to verify adherence to regulations.
- Maintain thorough documentation and evidence for all compliance-related processes.
- Keep updated on applicable laws, regulatory changes, and industry standards impacting business.
- Analyze the implications of regulatory updates on business workflows and internal directives, coordinating remedial measures with relevant departments.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify compliance vulnerabilities, control deficiencies, and potential policy infringements, recommending timely corrective and preventive steps.
- Facilitate internal and external audits, assuring proper documentation, evidence gathering, and tracking resolution of audit findings.
- Work closely with IT, security, legal, and product teams to support compliance with privacy laws, information security standards, and technology-related requirements.
- Drive employee compliance training programs and prepare compliance risk reports and updates for leadership.
- Develop and maintain communication channels and governance mechanisms for reporting compliance issues effectively.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven background in compliance management, regulatory adherence, governance, risk control, audit, or similar functions.
- Deep understanding of corporate compliance structures and internal control systems.
- Experience leading compliance assessments, audits, and risk evaluations.
- Competence in interpreting complex regulatory conditions and transforming them into operational guidelines and controls.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations, information security protocols, and technology compliance considerations is advantageous.
- Excellent skills in documentation, analysis, problem resolution, and stakeholder communication.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
