Job description
Position Overview
This role involves partnering with various organizational levels, including Store and Market Management and Subject Matter Experts, to educate associates and managers on compliance protocols. The Compliance Lead will monitor compliance controls at their facility, investigate root causes of issues, drive corrective measures, and promote ongoing improvements aimed at fostering trust among customers, employees, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compliance and safety education using Ethics and Compliance resources.
- Carry out compliance assessments within the facility, covering areas such as Health & Safety/Fire Code, Environmental standards, Consumer Protection, Anti-Money Laundering, Food Safety/Pest Control, Privacy & Employment, Licenses & Permits, and Anti-Corruption.
- Provide immediate compliance training to all facility levels, including the compliance segment during new associate onboarding.
- Analyze operational data to detect gaps or trends in program execution, identify root causes, and assist in creating and implementing action plans to mitigate risks.
- Participate in regulatory inspections (excluding Health & Wellness and HR issues), handle online submissions, and coordinate with relevant partners for addressing orders or penalties.
- Manage the hourly associate accident file process, including online reporting, investigation, issuing modified offers, and ensuring resolution.
- Maintain open two-way communication with Store Management to manage attendance, progress documentation, and accountability.
- Support the collection and validation of documents for customer claim files.
- Submit and track Facilities Maintenance requests, including pest management coordination.
- Utilize escalation procedures to resolve issues and outstanding tickets.
- Conduct safety walks and inspections as an active member of the safety team.
- Follow up on safety team meeting notes and inspection-related action items.
Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.35.
