Role Overview

We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to join our Dublin-based Compliance team, reporting to the Head of Compliance PCF-12/52. This role presents a significant opportunity for an ambitious compliance professional to enhance their career within an international insurance company. You will be part of an experienced team, working on varied regulatory, governance, and compliance issues, collaborating with senior management and regulators across jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide regulatory and compliance support encompassing governance, fitness and probity, outsourcing, licensing, and conduct risk.
  • Assist in managing the Firm’s Individual Accountability Framework in Ireland along with the Senior Management & Certification Regime in the UK.
  • Support regulatory applications and ensure adherence to Fitness and Probity Standards.
  • Handle routine compliance correspondence and queries.
  • Help Compliance Operations with annual policy and procedure reviews, such as conflicts of interest and fitness & probity policies.
  • Assist with Irish and international legal and regulatory license applications, renewals, registrations, queries, including US excess and surplus lines eligibility and Latin America licenses.
  • Support second-line Compliance assurance activities.
  • Contribute to preparing Compliance Reports for Executive Committees and Boards.
  • Provide day-to-day compliance support for the Zurich, UK, and Belgium branches, including regulatory reporting, review support, and policy implementation liaison with local stakeholders.
  • Review regulatory consultation papers and final guidance to update the Compliance team promptly.
  • Coordinate regulatory returns such as thematic reviews, ad hoc requests, and Dear CEO letters.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects related to new regulatory developments implementation.

Candidate Profile

  • At least one year of experience in a compliance role within the insurance industry or relevant insurance company experience.
  • A degree in Law, Business, Compliance, or a related discipline.
  • Self-driven and professional mindset with eagerness to learn continuously.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong organizational aptitude and time management capabilities.
  • Keen analytical skills and attention to detail in problem-solving.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities and projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of or willingness to pursue LCOI designation or equivalent certification.
  • Familiarity with compliance in the (re)insurance sector and understanding of European (re)insurance regulations is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Basic IT system experience including SharePoint and Microsoft Co-Pilot.

Work Conditions

This position requires onsite attendance at the Dublin office three days per week and may include occasional international travel.
