Role Overview
The Compliance team at OKX Seychelles cultivates a strong compliance culture, focusing on risk management and regulatory adherence. Key emphasis is placed on AML/CTF and Sanctions risk mitigation as vital elements of the compliance framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance policies, frameworks, procedures, and controls.
- Continuously monitor compliance with laws, including AML/CFT, sanctions, FATF guidelines, and related regulations.
- Engage in compliance reviews and investigations, ensuring thorough tracking and monitoring.
- Prepare compliance reports for management, the board, and other stakeholders, ensuring timely submission.
- Undertake special projects arising in a dynamic, fast-evolving workplace.
- Analyze escalations concerning high-risk clients, politically exposed persons (PEPs), and complex transactions, recommending resolutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Data, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Product, and Risk teams to enforce an effective compliance management program aligned with global standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years of compliance experience within financial services, FinTech, or cryptocurrency sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations such as AML/CFT, sanctions, consumer protection, privacy, and regulatory engagement support.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to operate efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-driven, independent thinker comfortable working across dispersed teams handling diverse tasks.
- Ethical integrity with readiness to question and challenge processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cryptocurrency or blockchain compliance initiatives.
- Familiarity with compliance technologies and analytical tools.
- Exposure to multi-jurisdictional compliance oversight.
- Certifications like CAMS, ICA, or equivalents.
